KEY ID FEATURES

Club or baseball bat shaped fruitbodies growing in groups with conifers.
Pale yellow when young, darkening towards an ochre brown in age.
Can be bitter in taste.

NOTES: Baseball bat shaped club, 5+- cm tall, 4-8 mm across at apex, pale yellowish-beige in color, no odor, taste mild. Growing in moss under spruce.
