KEY ID FEATURES
- Small-to-medium fruitbodies growing amongst the moss and other forest floor debris.
- Various tans, orange-browns or brownish-reds in overall color. Gills whitish.
- Veil remnants (granules) covering the cap (especially edge) and mid-to-lower stipe. Whitish-to-orange in color. Can be quite pronounced.
- Fruitbody can have an overall dry or "powdery" appearance.
