- NOTES: Cap 75-133 (+) mm across, viscid-to-moist, with darker concentric bands, gills pale beige, discoloring ocher to clay-colored in age. Latex thick, creamy, staining the tissue pale violet. Growing under hemlock with a few spruce around, in thick moss on stream side. Flesh creamy beige, stipe hollow, taste mild, or with a slight sharpness.
