- NOTES: On the ground under birch and spruce. Pinkish cap with faint and irregular zonations, bearded margin, with matted tomentose cap. Gills crowded, creamy-pink in color. Latex very scant, white. Taste quickly very acrid. Odor not distinctive. Flesh creamy-pink, stipe hollow.
