- NOTES: Under birch in the yard at the Ranger Station. Cap is thinly viscid, but appears pubescent, patchy in color, with dark blackish color with paler spots/patches. Pores grayish-brown at first, soon whitish to pale grayish, developing beige/pale brownish discoloration. Stipe with fine grayish scabers at first, becoming dark gray. Flesh creamy, slight, slow pinkish decoration in cap flesh, no staining elsewhere.
